The Information Technology Department is responsible for all computer hardware, network, and software services for the City of Cleveland's government and public safety offices. We maintain a wide area network that connects over 300 users to various applications and servers located throughout the city. The IT Department also oversees the development of the City's intranet and internet websites.
The Information Technology Department is contracted out to Cleveland Utilities, under the direct supervision of the City Manager. The agreement affords the City more access to uninterrupted computer repair and installation services, as well as technical advice on electronic technology purchases.
